The Hidden Affects Of Religious Dogma Part Four

The Dangerous Message Behind “Pride comes before the fall

You've been taught that self-certainty is pride. If you are not to trust yourself, what's left for you to trust – except someone else's voice?

Religion taught you to believe your instincts or desires can't be trusted unless they align with religious rules. This created a false framework for you to second-guess yourself, constantly waiting for external validation.

It's a relief to break free from the belief that your instincts and desires are out of control and not to be trusted. Now that you have left the church, you can start to trust yourself and not wait for external validation.

Religion feeds off energy through fear. Once people are bound by fear in their minds, the body goes to!

Trust in self begins in the body- that trust, that knowing, is based on the nervous system. The nervous system carries information that serves as guidance for you. This does not come from the outside.

Because religion gives you the belief that all your trust must be placed in a god, you forget that you are God and that the emotions you feel in your body are guideposts for your life. This ties into your desires. Religion tells you that "flesh is weak," =moving you further away from trusting yourself. Now, because you have believed your flesh is weak, anytime you have a desire, you shut it down or ignore it or do something to numb the desire away for the moment because you've been made to believe your desires are evil and don't deserve your attention.

This contradicts your natural ability to reject emotions, which is to reject your alchemy and magic. To deny your desires is to reject yourself.

It's time to reclaim your power. You've been taught that self-certainty is pride. Trusting yourself is the key to your liberation, not a sign of arrogance or pride.
